Mycotoxins reduce feed intake and cause damage to the cells in the digestive tract resulting in diarrhoea and enteric disorders. They can easily enter the blood circulation and have toxic effects in all parts of the body like the brain, the reproductive system, the liver and the kidneys. In this way they reduce health, growth and reproductive performance of animals. Mycotoxins also interact with the efficacy of fat-soluble vitamins. The dietary requirements for these vitamins are higher in feeds contaminated with mycotoxins. For a good defence against the broadest range of mycotoxins Toxout was developed. In order to attack a broader spectrum of mycotoxins, Toxout evolved into a new generation mycotoxin binder called Toxout Pro¸in which Yeast, Beta-glucans, Pro-biotic, Pre-biotic and Enzymes are included. Now both toxinbinders can be used, depending on your situation and on the kind of mycotoxins that cause a problem.
