Toxout Pro
Toxout Pro contains a mixture of heat activated hydrated sodium-, calcium-, aluminium-silicates (HSCAS). These silicates selectively adsorb mycotoxins by making a stable electrochemical bond with polar mycotoxins. The forming of a molecular complex of mycotoxin and HSCAS inactivates the toxic effects of the mycotoxins. This also prevents the absorption of mycotoxins in the gastro-intestinal tract.
Toxout Pro also contains beta-glucans and yeast to adsorb mycotoxins. The beta-glucans provide large adsorption areas with different pore sizes, and they can adsorb different types of Mycotoxins, regardless of their polarity. The yeast cell walls inside the Toxout Pro contain long chain carbohydrates that actively stimulate the immune system in the intestine. This protects the animals from the immune suppression caused by mycotoxins. Toxout Pro also contains different pro-biotic bacteria. These pro-biotic bacteria produce acid in the small intestine, which lowers the pH to a level that destroys pathogens. The pro-biotic bacteria also compete with pathogens for intestinal surface. Intestinal cells that are covered with pro-biotic bacteria offer no space for pathogens to attach. This makes it difficult for pathogens to colonize the digestive tract. Besides the pro-biotic, the pre-biotic inside Toxout Pro act as a substrate to stimulate the chosen pro-biotic bacteria inside Toxout Pro.
