Daamould

Raw materials
When Daamould is added to the raw materials, the specific properties of Daamould will prevent the growth of moulds but also the production of mycotoxins. By treating the raw materials and controlling the mould growth, the risk of producing contaminated feed will be reduced. High quality raw materials result in higher quality feeds.
The use of Daamould will also reduce the risk of cross-contamination when the raw materials come into contact with other raw materials. By treating the raw materials with Daamould, the moulds can be controlled during the entire process of feed production; from farm to factory to farm.
Processed feed
By adding Daamould during the production process of feed, de-contamination of moulds can be established in the finished feed. Because Daamould contains non-volatile organic ingredients, long-term activity is ensured, even after heating. This makes that Daamould will continue to work effectively against moulds after the materials are heated during the production process. This way, a processed feed with less risk of mould growth and mycotoxin contamination can be produced, resulting in a feed with a higher quality, good palatability and an extended shelf life.
Daamould is a blend of organic acids, in which multiple short chain fatty acids enhance each other’s mode of action and work synergistically for better results in mould inhibition. Besides the organic acids, Daamould contains surfactants and chelates to assure an optimal water binding capacity.
