DaaLF
DaaLF was designed to inhibit yeast and mould formation inside co products. It can also be used on farm-level, where farmers prepare mixtures of different co products.
DaaLF is an organic acid mixture, containing those acids that will penetrate the walls of the yeast cells. Because of this, lesions will be formed on the cell walls and as a consequence the yeast cells will be destroyed effectively. The organic acids will also inhibit the yeast spores.
Beside the strong yeast controlling effect, DaaLF will also inhibit Gram-negative bacteria and mould spores. On the other hand, it will not influence the growth of beneficial bacteria, like bacteria that produce lactic acid.
DaaLF will not influence the smell nor the taste of the co product, but it is a corrosive product and strongly reduces the pH to the level that will prevent yeast growth.
As a variety, DaaLF M was developed, to inhibit yeast and mould formation inside co products from the milk processing factory or from co products with a high inclusion level of milk derivates. With the use of DaaLF M, the high quality of those co products can be maintained.
DaaLF Plus is the latest addition to our DaaLF range, designed for liquid feeding.
This product was developed to treat liquid feed which is more susceptible for yeast. Because of the addition of certain organic acids, the product is even more effective against yeasts then the basic DaaLF.
This new concept was also developed out of our intention to make a non-corrosive product, because all the existing products in the market are very corrosive and potentially dangerous for human beings, animals and equipment.
DaaLF Plus is the only product for liquid feeding that is available in a liquid and a dry form.
