Daavision has developed two new concepts with organic acids.

Daafit and Daafit Plus
Streptococcus is a pathogenic bacteria that poses a big threat on pig and poultry farms all over the world. The public- and political pressure on the agricultural business to reduce the use of antibiotics, makes this threat even bigger. That is why Daavision developed a product based on Lauric acid and Monolaurate, which is very effective against Gram-positive bacteria. The use of this product may help to reduce the use antibiotics on the farm.
For the feed industry we developed Daafit, a combination of Lauric acid and Monolaurate.
On farm level, the problems with Streptococcus bacteria usually occur together with E.coli contaminations. That is why we developed a product called Daafit Plus, which is a combination of our antibacterial acid mixture with the Lauric acid / Monolaurate.
DaaLF Plus
Organic acids are widely used in liquid feeding, to reduce the fermentation and to prevent the growth of yeasts. Normally, these acids are very corrosive.
To make the use of acids less dangerous, we have developed a NON-corrosive product for the liquid feeding called DaaLF Plus, which is safe for human beings, animals and equipment.
The product is available in liquid and dry form.
