Raw material and feed management
Prices of raw materials are of the utmost importance for the cost price of the feeds. Therefore the chosen raw materials in your feed production should be of the highest quality. They should be safeguarded from any bacterial contamination and that is why Daasal is added to the raw materials to prevent the growth of Entero bacteria. By treating the raw materials and controlling the bacteria, the risk of producing contaminated feed will be reduced.
In the same way, the raw materials should be protected against mould growth by Daamould. The use of a mould inhibitor does not only preserve the nutrients in the raw materials, it also preserves the palatability.
Another negative effect of moulds is that they produce mycotoxins, which can be very harmful, even at low quantities. Toxinbinders bind the mycotoxins so they can be excreted in the faeces, without causing any negative effect in the animals. The production of processed feed for pigs and poultry is a special aspect in the total chain of the agricultural industry. A lot of factors will influence the quality of the processed feed and in the end the performance of the animals. Considering the risk of cross contamination, preserving only the raw materials will not be enough.
That is why we suggest to add an anti-bacterial product like Daasal to the processed feed to control Entero bacteria in the feed and in the animals.
When Daacid is added to the processed feed, the organic acids will work as an acidifier, immediately increasing the quality of the feed.
