Moulds can also easily become a big problem in the feed for the pigs, because moulds consume the nutrients and reduce the palatability of the feed. The use of a mould inhibitor does not only prevent these negative properties, but it also increases the shelf live of the feed.

Another negative effect of moulds is that they produce
mycotoxins, which can be very harmful, even at low
quantities.
